First aid: ABCD-CPR Course

Every day there are a variety of acute illnesses, accidents in the workplace, in sports or in traffic. Being able to provide first aid and early intervention in common diseases such as heart attacks and strokes can in the long run be crucial for the possibilities of survival and rehabilitation. The course equips participants to be able to lead and act at an accident site, identify early signs of illness and provide first aid according to AFS 2023:2 Chap. 4 first aid och emergency aid. Purpose: The goal of first aid is to reduce suffering and increase the chance of survival in case of illness, accident and cardiac arrest. Contents: • Assessment of the situation L-ABCDE • CPR whit defibrillator • Recovery position • Techniques to move injured/ unconscious persons • Disease cases/trauma, e.g. Stroke, Diabetes, bleeding, Allergic reaction, Burn injury et. al |
